Race Results August 30, 2009

Congratulations to the Winners of this Weeks Race.

It was a terrific night of racing at Sportsman's. Although it was raining everywhere else and we did have a brief shower early in the afternoon, the weather finally cleared up. Since the features were rained out last week, make up features were run along with this week's program. The Limited Sprints were also on hand but because of the bad weather and their long distance away, their car count was down. Even so, they thrilled the spectators. Altogether there were 9 heats and 11 features races were over by 10:00 p.m. due to the outstanding performance of the pit crew and the drivers. Track conditions were superb according to the feed-back from all the drivers. Next week, Sept. 6th, will be the last point race with double points and trophies being awarded. There will possible be a couple non-point races after Labor Day.
